Peach Pit Peach Pit, a group of high school friends, is a small indie pop band from Vancouver, Canada. This band has written songs about long lost loves, creepy relationships involving, true teenage heartbreak and a variety of other subjects. By the end of the song, the clean guitar riffs begin to fray and become fussy, and more chaotic showing how he became after that relationship. Having that intimate relationship with death, its process and its people was something we found both in these lyrics and within the story. They began playing together 10 years ago. Was it a group decision, or something randomly thought of, and was there any other possible band names that you guys talked about that could’ve been chosen instead of peach pit. For Magpie in specific, the band tried making the album in the studio with a general framework in mind. The poem, One for Sorrow, Two for Joy , is a nursery rhyme where the number of birds seen determines your luck.
